"Firstly, we scheduled a late appt because our child can’t miss school, or he can fall behind. They called back and told us they were changing it to an earlier appt. Insisted it had to be earlier (30 min difference in time)or we would get “ charged if we cancel per the policy”. Back and forth, until they kept the earlier time. Flash to 24 hrs before appt and they changed it. We were forced to do that time or we would have had a charge! That seemed pretty calculated. In the waiting room, the receptionist asked personal information from a pt as she hollered across the waiting room. I’m a nurse and cringed at the privacy violations, for sure. Procedure went fine, however the Dr did not touch base afterward. We received paperwork from the aide and that was it. I’d like to say though , that the anesthesiologist was stellar. Professional, warm and fuzzy attitude. She was the only one that gave five star service. We paid a lot out of pocket for services not covered by insurance, and didn’t have a great experience there. No complications from the sx but the rest of it just felt like we were just another number. Maybe I’m being too hard on them- perhaps they just had some really off days. I dunno. But , for us it could have been a better experience ."
