"I love taking the ferry to South Manitou Island. The staff and the ferry are top notch and very dependable. The ride is about 1 hour and 20 min. Sit up top or on the main deck, its all good! There are even cocktails available on board. Do yourself a favor and take the ferry to South Manitou, it is like a mini-vacation."
"We took the day trip to South Manitou Island. It was enlightening and fun! The ride to the island is about an hour and twenty minutes. We were on the upper level on the way over and the lake was a little rough and it was chilly but still enjoyable! We did the tour of the farms and learned so much. We had no idea of how many people had actually lived on the island at one time and all of the history that had happened there. You do have to be prompt with your timing to make sure that you make it on the boat for your ride back. We rode on the lower level , due to the upper lever being full, on the way back and you don’t see the islands and dunes as well. We can’t wait to go back and explore more of the island! We would highly recommend taking the time to make the trip!"
"Very friendly and helpful staff took us over to South Manitou Island. It was windy and wavy, but the boat was very stable, and no one got sea sick. Drinks are available on board, and a great sandwich shop is nearby to provide your lunch on the island."

"Easy to purchase tickets online. The crew and staff were friendly and they made us all feel comfortable and safe when the water got choppy. We took advantage of the drinks and snacks onboard. The bathroom was clean. Day Parking was the only thing that was a bit confusing. Obviously, it's the only option to get to the islands but that doesn't stop them from focusing on excellent service."
