OK Shoe Repair

"I just picked some blue jeans up from “OK SHOE REPAIR” that needed patches on them. The reason I took them there, is because of the thickness of the blue jean material, most of the dry cleaning places told me that their machines couldn’t sew material that thick. Obviously “Geno” the owner works on shoes, but if there’s something that has a thicker material that you need sewing, go see Geno at OK SHOE REPAIR. "Didn't even get a chance to do business, I called to see about getting a pair of shoes repaired, sent photos in, I told the gentleman on the phone I was on my way. 20mins later I get to the location and no one was there, and he didn't answer the phone. Very Unprofessional, after reading some reviews, I decided to go elsewhere."

"I came into the store with a pair of dance shoes that had a broken buckle. I needed to wear the shoes for a performance that evening. When I found out that it usually takes several days for repairs I was worried but when I explained my situation to the owner he found the part of the buckle I needed and repaired the shoe in just a few minutes. Crisis averted! He only charged me a small fee for his trouble. I highly recommend his services if you need shoes or boots repaired. He was very friendly as well."

"I dropped off a few pair of shoes that needed the cap on the heel easy fix and one pair of boots that needed stitching due to a rip. I returned many times for the pickup during business hours and the business was closed..one pair of shoes he couldn't locate. I refused to leave without my shoes so i waited. He did find but after searching for a while. The pair of boots that required stitching looks terrible..i couldn't believe it. Totally out of the previous stitching pattern. The young man must be covering for his Dad. I will never return."

"Geno is very nice and sweet. However, my repair service was not good at all. Sorry. Just being honest. Dropped my boots off on November 3rd and was told it would be 2 weeks tops to stitch a hole, clean them up and re-sole them for $65. Was told he would make them "good as new!" After several phone calls and chat messages to him (I always contacted him, he never initiated contact), and several times being told he needed a few more days... I got my Uggs on December 20th. He said the delay was due to there being so much salt on my boots. Apparently he had to soak them several times in the 48 days he had them to remove all the salt. But there's still a ton of salt as you can see in the photos, they are not clean nor have the soles been replaced. Also the stitch work is absolutely terrible. It looks very messy and is obviously not matching the original stitch pattern. They were wet when I picked them up so I didn't see how bad they really were til they dried. He gave me a discount for my time but still charged me $50. My old shoe place only charged me $50 to completely renew the dye and clean them up but I moved away from Farmington. Save yourself the headache and disappointment and go elsewhere."
