"I will not give my business to A hardware/tool stores that are rude and not welcoming of our small furry family members. There are to many stores in and around Houghton to buy a cheap set of screw drivers. They sell inferior products and need to walk a step back off that pedestal. I entered the store and was greeted by 2 different employees while I shopped. Nothing was said about my little dog. When I approached checkouts the Cashier wasted no time. “We don’t allow pets only service animals.” ( insinuating) “Oh well i guess if its in a cart or something” ( power call) with a look of “well maybe” on her face. I left my purchase on the counter and walked off, responding “I don’t patronage places like this, good bye.” I wondered into TSC and to the Swift Ace in Downtown Houghton.( pet friendly) That simple! Im hitting 60 and I will not be talked down to, All over a little Pug dog.. SHAME on them! Its time to MODERN THINK as others are..Lowes, Ace, Marshalls, Tj max, TSC to name a few who are all pet friendly. This is not a NEW concept. Europe has been friendly to pets for years."
