"I ordered two subs for takeout today. While I was waiting I witnessed one of the workers get an attitude with a customer because she gave him the wrong beverage and then got mad because he said it wasn't Cherry Coke. Then while my subs were being put together, the phone rang the person making my subs answer the phone wearing gloves, she took the phone call, then proceeded to finish making my subs wearing the same gloves . I witnessed multiple people answer the phone during that time. It's obvious that that is not a clean surface. When I said something to her she just mumbled under her breath and I couldn't even understand her. I used to think big John's was the best steak and cheese around. After this experience I'll never be back. I almost forgot. I also witnessed them make a sub that was wrong and instead of disposing of it they dumped the meat back on the grill and used it to make someone else's sandwich. This place is disgusting and the health department should shut it down"
"I normally have no trouble in and out my order's always correct. Tonight I ordered a 16in steak cheese and mushroom extra cheese no peppers no sauce. I returned home and there were no mushrooms which I was charged for. So was a little upset about it. As I was coming home from working 6am til 5pm I had no energy to return to have it remade."
"Big John’s is by far the best cheesesteak around. We have a drive at least 30 mins for the closest one, it’s worth the drive! I’ve been to many big John’s locations, this location had excellent service!"
"I love to eat at Big John. It is one of my favorite places, but I will not be going back to the Corunna Road location. The staff is unfriendly. The way they prepared the food made it dry and taste salty. And they did not get the order correct. Trust me, choose another location to eat."
"It was a very dry and unpleasant sandwich. Got a 8 inch steak sub with mushrooms. The meat only filled up to 6inches and the bread taste like it was old(it crumbled). Asked for mayo and it was only a smear. More mushrooms than meat. I'm from Flint, but live in South Carolina and I couldn't wait to get a sub. Very disappointed. My companion's sandwich was disappointing as well. He had lettuce tomato and peppers on his and they put more toppings, but less meat. The service was pleasant and quick. Now I see why."
