"I usually do not leave average reviews but the cost of the food does not match the quality I would expect. I had the Sam’s cheese steak. I figured since the business is built around “famous cheese steaks” it would be a step above. I could be wrong but pretty sure the meat is from a frozen Philly meat hockey puck not sliced fresh meat. The cheese seemed to be a cheese spread from a dispenser since it never got hard after cooling. Portion was good but as mentioned the price does not warrant the ingredient used. My suggestion would be this, use real cheese slices, do not dice your peppers, onions, and mushrooms. There flavor get lost in the meat. If you go with larger vegetables you can cut back on the meat. Only a suggestion. If I am wrong about the ingredients let me know"
"First time having a hoagie and it was by far the best I have ever had. The staff here is super friendly and the atmosphere is fun and relaxing. Good music great food. Definitely will be back next time we come here again. We have nothing like this place back home in Traverse City."
"Decided to try out Lefty's for the first time since they are really close to where I live. I ordered the large combo meal Big Poppa Hoagie and my less hungry wife got the fried Mac and cheese. Everything was delicious. Probably the best cheese steak I've ever had. The combination of classic steak/American cheese/onions with the thousand Island sauce was amazing. Kinda tasted like a cheese steak big mac. Also, the curly fries were bomb. So good, will definitely be back again as I gotta try the brisket next."
"First time experiencing the store after we've heard a lot about it. The portion size are adequate but the costs are a little high. They're signature Philly cheese, Smashburger and small drink ran $24! They make everything to order and the food was delicious. After you order you take a seat and they bring it to your table. We'll definitely give another try the next time we're out there."
