"A really great bar in Hammtrammick. We came for New Years even 2023 and had a great time. Their drinks are unique and interesting. A LOT of them are absinthe based which wasn't a big hit with our group but EVERYTHING else is really well made. The bourbon and gin drinks were great. The snacks and horderves were also really good. The atmosphere is unique and very chill. Zoey is doing a fantastic job and we'll be excited to see what they are up to in 2024. Highly recommended."

"Went down state for a girls trip with my best friend this weekend. Making it a point to stop at The black salt for the 1st time, and we are so glad that we did! This place was a whole vibe. Drinks were artful and well thought out. Our bartender was kinda and exceptional at his craft. Tried a few of the BonBons and absolute must try. Such a welcoming environment, this place will stay on our list of downstate gems."

"Glad to say that we got to experience the black salt but was not very happy with some things that happened while there. The rituals were amazing and the drinks were alright. My favorite drink was the house shrub. We reserved a table for 5 and we were under the impression that we had 3 hours. After about an hour and a half we were kicked out. Not all drinks were finished but we were told we got to go. They also rushed payment and just took the tab and split it in 5 instead of giving us the bills of what each person purchased. Also another thing is our waiter didn’t come to our table but once. We had to get him over just to get drinks. Nice to say I’ve been but doubt I’ll be back."

"Fun place to visit. Make sure you make reservations very limited seating. Non spell drinks are more reasonable. Drinks w spells a tad higher but very unique. It was fun to visit. Great idea! Very limited food selection, so eat before you come. Mainly for cocktails."

The owner is down to earth and so friendly. The drinks offered are outstanding and taste amazing. The whole place is an experience you won't regret! ✨️"
