"3.5/5. It was good, but I'd rather explore different options. Solid fare for good prices, but unfortunately, the massive .5lb Angus burgers are cooked to an absolute char and fully well done. I understand not wanting a burger to be cooked medium-rare or medium even, but this beautiful thick high quality chuck patty needs some pink in it. Pretty disappointing meat-vased burgers a around. I'd actually not get a meat-based burger and get some sort of vegan or veggie burger next time I come out. It seems like they put a lot more effort into their vegan options. Will bump up to 4 stars if I comeback and that ends up being the case! Apps were good to great! Vegan chicken wings were only okay but the sauce was really good. Fried avocado bites were awesome - would get those every time. Prices were okay to a little pricy. Ambiance was super fun and more 90s retro."

"Stopped in with my family during ArtPrize - the atmosphere is so fun, love the kitschy vibe, the food was fantastic. I got the blackberry bacon jam grilled cheese and I still think about it from time to time. The chronic fries were wonderful. Stella’s was the first place we went to after getting to Grand Rapids and it’s a reason I would travel back to the city."

"A friend and I came on a Friday night around 10pm and we couldn’t get a table. We put our name on the list and went to sit at the bar. We had 2 drinks and weren’t seated yet, there was a miscommunication with my phone number and when they couldn’t reach me, the host gave our table away.. the place isn’t that big and it would’ve been appreciated had someone came over to us at the bar considering we didn’t leave. In any event, we got food to go and it wasn’t bad. My friend is vegan and enjoyed the options"

"So this atmosphere isn’t for everyone but it is a lot of fun for those who like kitsch. Tons of throwback video games (we love to play Galaga and NBA Jam). Fun 70’s, 80’s & early 90’s TV shows playing and lots of graffiti artwork. It’s a whiskey bar and most servers are pierced and tatted up, but also friendly. We took our kids there when they were younger & now that they are in their 20’s they love it even more. Excellent food. Famous for their burgers. Get the chronic fries. The Road Runner was outstanding!"
