"This was a super disappointing experience. I have been wanting to come in to Knoop for months, but didn’t have the opportunity until this past Sunday. Upon arrival, we saw signs that said to wait to be seated by a host, and then proceeded to wait until we got tired of waiting and looked inside for staff. Several were just kind of standing/hanging out at the bar. We got sat and were given the vaguest menu I’ve ever seen for a niche place (an anxiety nightmare). Drink was good. View was lackluster (ongoing construction on other rooftops)."

"Went to dinner on a Monday night with a friend after a really long week. It was a perfect unwind experience. The service was prompt and we finally got to try the rooftop bar/outdoor seating. We shared a few plates ( always find yourself a hungry friend!) And they were delicious! My friend is a vegetarian and there was multiple options for her and they accommodated a couple that were not. Now. The service. Our server was amazing. Her name was Emma (or Emily) and she helped us have such a good time. (Emma if you ever see this review tell your cats I love them). It is pricy but it is a rooftop bar in GR and also everything is pricey so I wasn't blown away and we looked it up before coming so knew what to expect. If you are looking into going please know that it's best to call ahead for outdoor seating. Even on a Monday we needed to make a reservation for about 1.5 hours out so calling ahead saved us some stress of finding out at the time. Only criticism is I do wish there was some outdoor lighting for when it gets dark."

"If you are looking for a rooftop bar in Grand Rapids, go somewhere else. It is on the 8th floor, but this is an indoor bar with a handful of outdoor seats. Take a look at the photos and see for yourself. Waited at least 20 minutes for a server to come by. When he did finally arrive, blamed the wait on understaffing. Had a drink, asked for bill - another long wait. Not the experience we were looking for."

"A great rooftop to spend the afternoon eating and drinking. Our server was very helpful with our drink selections and never steered us wrong. They were all excellent. The food was perfect as well. It took us a while to get a reservation, so book early. It's a busy spot, and it deserves to be."
