"Stopped by on a Sunday night. Had EXCELLENT service - our waitress was fun and engaging. Made sure everything was good. Got the quesadillas- tasty. Honestly - our server made the experience. She was great. And the Red Wings game was on the big screen. Perfect."

"OMG I’m way overdue for riding this review, but better late than ever. Our server Gabriel was amazing he was so on top of his game. It was refreshing to get a server like him! Not only that he looks like Jesus which just gave the atmosphere and even more holier vibe. The food was fresh. It was hot. It was delicious. It was well seasoned. We also took the cake was, my daughter had a coughing spell, and one of the servers noticed that she was coughing really bad that he offered up his inhaler to her that really was the cherry on top of the perfect cake that was given to us, because anything could have happened in that moment, and he didn’t think twice to help us. I will forever be grateful and I will be telling everybody about this place and how well it is ran. Thank you so much for the amazing service!"

"Lisa is the hardest working bartender I’m seen since my college days long ago. And she always has a smile, even when the group asks for 10 lemon drops with a full bar full! She deserves a raise for all her hard work! PS the pulled pork is very good too!"

"Our family ate dinner there Friday, November 24. It was me the mom, my three daughters, and our grandchildren and a nephew for a family overnight stay in Grand Rapids. We are from the Detroit area. Jess was our waitress and she was awesome. She had a real test with us on a lot of special needs and changing things. And everything was great. Everything was perfect. Food was good my BLT pizza was awesome. Jess is to be commended, keep up the good work"

"If you are going to stay in Grand Rapids, the Embassy Suites Downtown is by far the best hotel in Town. The balcony rooms that overlook the river are awesome. In the hotel is Big Es sports grill. It is an excellent place to eat and drink. I had the chicken tenders with volcano sauce and tator tots. The chicken tenders were some of the best I have ever had, and the volcano sauce was really good, but I like hot food. We had craft beer and Margareta to drink. The strawberry Margareta are the best. Lots of alochol! Great food and drink right at the hotel. You don't have to go anywhere. The sports bar is really upscale, very high tech, and the atmosphere is very nice. Service was top-notch. The whole hotel is upscale. I have stayed at them all, and there is no better in town. You can walk to the river or multiple downtown locations. It is more expensive than some but is worth very penny. If you are traveling to Grand Rapids, stay at the hotel and eat at Big Es!!!"
