"This place is the best dive bar (and I say dive with all due respect)that I've ever been to. The bartenders are a family. The atmosphere is perfectly laid back. And they cut people off and walk people out before they have a chance to ruin it. You have to experience it to appreciate it."
"Do not go to this dive bar, the staff is so worthless they will look you in the eyes for over two hours and never give you service. Most pathetic job skills as bartenders go to the next bar over it will be much more worth your time. I suggest OTooles across the street. Or Fratelies Kitchen and Bar. Unless you want to be treated like scum avoid this place at all cost! They will also threatened you if you voice a complaint. Most unprofessional staff i have ever met. That employee should be fired."

"I always come to this place when I go to GR. I read some other reviews and all I can say is don’t follow foolish suggestions about getting a double bourbon or whatever… if you order a double at Anchor you get the same drink and get charged double."
"High recommend as a good dive bar to hang out at. Music can be a little loud and it can be a little crowded at times, but that’s really what makes it a good dive bar. The drinks are always well priced and the bouncers are pretty cool. Great pregame or postgame spot for a night out"
