"Beautiful little dock, we looked for rocks. The water is a bit choppier on this side of the lake."
"Family Day Park was the perfect pit stop! This area was clean, has a portable potty available, as well as seating, plenty of shade, a map of Torch Lake, and lake access. The public access is clearly marked from private areas. There is a dock that you can sit at, and dip your feet into the water. Or stairs that lead into the lake, for shallow wading and Petoskey finds. It is pretty rocky, with a small piece of sand shore on one side of the dock, don't reccomend for a swimming spot"

"Right on Torch Lake. If you blink you'll miss the entry to the park. But it's a great little area to stretch your legs and walk down to the lake. Handicap accessible with a ramp leading down as well. Also a vault toilet."
"This is probably the best and most remote access to Torch Lake that you are going to find. Dock is a little rickety, but it made for some great photos. Great view."
