"I set up an appointment online, drove one hour to the store, and the doors were locked. No information anywhere I could find about why it was closed. Don’t allow booking appointments online if you’re not going to honor them."

"I went into the guild shop on Sunday morning to look for a suit. I tried over 4 different suits but didn't end up buying anything. Courtney answered all my questions and was really helpful without being pushy. She was professional and polite through out the whole experience. I would definitely recommend checking Bonobos out."

"Came in to check out some pants for my boyfriend and was greeted by the only store employee working as if it was an inconvenience that I was there. I browsed around without any help offered and happened to see a clearly marked restroom sign labeled unisex just past the mirror-not hidden or tucked away at all. I opened the door to use it as it was not marked with any “employees only” or other signage to make it clear not to enter. The employee shouted rudely from the front of the store “that’s not for you.” I just replied “ok” and left without looking further. Could have been interested in checking out the clothes, but was very turned off after the poor service experience. Not having a public bathroom is totally fine, but don’t scold customers when it’s not marked in any way to prevent them from using it. This was August 7th, 2023 around 2pm."

"Super disappointed in the whole Bonobos experience. This doesn't really have to do with the Detroit store (they were super friendly), but the company in general. There is ZERO consistency in sizing. Sizing is incredibly important if you have a store where customers try things on then have to order online. I bought 2 pairs of the same exact cut jeans in different washes and when I received them, one pair was 2 inches shorter than the other. In truth, both pairs seemed shorter than what I tried on in store. I sent the shorter pair back and ordered a second pair in the same wash, thinking "okay, there will hopefully be consistency with the same exact wash." Nope, I received the replacement pair today, and they are 1.5 inches LONGER than the first pair. Same exact size, cut wash. The replacement seems closer to what I tried on in store. But I don't feel like trying to replace the shorter ones (who knows what I would get). YMMV but my experience with Bonobos means I won't go back. It's too bad because the product seems well made. There's just no QC. Just keep in mind that if you order pants, even if they fit in store, the ones they send you will be plus/minus 2 inches."
