"I booked for 6 people to get their hairs done in a 4 hour span for my wedding. Only one girl was sent to do the hair and this was a major problem. The girl (Kleo) showed up 15 minutes late so that pushed everything back. I told her in multiple emails leaving up to the wedding and several times day of the I (the bride) needed my hair finished no later than 9:30. 9am comes around and she isn’t even close to finishing one of the bridesmaids in front of me so I had to jump in and ask her if she could start my hair now so it could be done as soon as possible. My hair didn’t end up getting finished til almost 10:30 which is absolutely ridiculous considering I had said multiple times that I needed it done by 9:30. I needed everyone’s hair done by 11 and there were still 2.5 girls to go after me. She completely slowed down the day. Thank gos I planned for some buffer time or we would have no been on time. If you are only going to send 1 girl to do 6 people’s hair in a 4 hour span, make sure she shows up on time and is actually efficient."

"Reconsider using Primp Beauty for a Brazilian Hair treatment. I had the worst experience. My hair is now damaged and will take probably over a year or more for it to be back to it’s original condition. Chrissy started the process and then handed me over to her assistant who was not educated in the process. She used the wrong product which completely damaged my hair. This was my first time having a Brazilian treatment so I did not understand the process. In addition, my scalp was also damaged which took time to heal as well and has caused hair loss. My hair and scalp will take some serious TLC and it has cost me a bundle in products. Although my money was credited back (minus $60 tip), it will never be enough to compensate for the improper handling of the Brazilian, the poor service, and the disregard for my long term hair damage."

"I hired Primp Beauty Bar for my wedding. Me and 4 bridesmaids all had both our hair and makeup done. My trial went okay, I wanted natural and she put a load of bronzer and highlight on me and my hair was lackluster. The day of my wedding, the artist who did my trial didn’t show up, I had to ask where she was and was told she was sick. Had no prior communication on that. The 2 woman who did our hair and makeup were rude and bizarre. The hair lady did a good job on my bridesmandtri when it was my turn she kept saying “you are stressing me out, you are making this difficult on me, you are asking for miracles” because I told her the humidity will make my curls flat and to please do anything to make them stay. I was very upset the whole time I was getting my hair done. The makeup artist was just bad, she caked on foundation no matter how many times we told her more natural, she didn’t blend anything, completely over lined lips, packed on blush bronzer and highlight. She would not listen when we were telling her how we wanted it and every time just did the same thing to all of us. These woman never asked me my name, said congratulations, said a nice word in general. They ruined my getting ready experience. As I was putting my dress on they had my bridesmaid come grab me to tell me I owed them $16 more for their tip. My hair looked terrible about 3 hours later, ratted in the back from where misplaced a ton of bobby pins. I reached out to the owner Chrissy Martinez 2 days later and let her know everything that happened. She said she was “sorry I felt that way” and wanted to schedule a call to talk, 2 times she scheduled to call me and never did. That was a a month and half ago and I never heard anything since."

I had Malari and Mariah for my wedding day. I cannot get over how beautiful I felt that day and all the girls were beyond obsessed with how theirs turned out.
