"I have tried to contact at least five customer service representatives all saying that they would help me resolve my matter. I bought a defective raincoat for almost 200$ and got soaked the first time wearing it!! I have been over a guide level shopper and spent hundreds in the last couple years at Eddie Bauer. I had pictures as proof of the defects showing how I was getting soaked with their supposed water proof weather tech coat. I am sorry but for an outdoor gear company that is worth millions and been around a long time this is very poor customer service. I have also had issues when I signed up for an online account they gave me a different rewards number other than the one I already had from shopping in the store. Apparently your rewards status goes back to zero every year also, a stupid thing. I contacted several customer service reps over the phone and through emails about both of these issues. They did not help me switch over my rewards or resolve the defect rain coat even though they assured me they would. They have lost hundreds of more dollars more from me in the last couple months because I did not want to lose my rewards or end up with more defective gear. Terrible service."

And the staff were nice and welcome but not at all pushy, I was able to walk and shop without being pressured to buy this or that. Just how I like it. Bought a parka on sale from $200 to $85, I will be visiting this store more often!!"
