New Petros Restaurant

"It's so sad when places you've been coming to for over 20 years start to cut corners to save money. They tried telling me Greek Steak is made with mustard! It was the most disgusting thing I ever tasted."

"Placed order by phone and they still didnt had order ready after 15 minutes place was empty, so no reason for waiting. Grilled chicken salad ( chicken cold) was old and brown. The manager didn't wanted to refund saying because of the hot chicken but really even the salad on the bottom was brown and old. He said that owner was not there and he only could replace it. Only reason that he said ok will refund was after i mention about the roaches. Only reason my husband and I stopped going was that there are roaches crawling around on the tables and the lady that cleans table smashed it and wiped it with the towel she still used to clean tables."

"Our family loves Petros’s Restaurant in Hammond Ind. We had an after funeral breakfast gathering with 31 family members. The waitress and staff were terrific. Food came out quick and correct. The price is so reasonable and the space was large enough to be comfortable making it able to gather, eat, talk also the staff even volunteered to get family pictures of all of us with our phones. This restaurant was perfect in a time of need. Thank You Petro’s"

"I come straight to the counter anymore since I come here alone and service is quick with coffee on the spot and the waitresses and cooks and bussers hustle here!! Been coming here for years ever since my parents were regular customers. Great food and I love the moussaka (ground beef, egg plant, potatoes, zucchini cover with cream cheese)!!"

"Petros Restaurant was a bit of a surprise to me. I had passed by this place many times before deciding to try it out. I am very glad I did! Offering delicious dishes for reasonable prices. I tried one of the specials they offered. "Las Vegas Special" absolutely delicious! This special came with a small salad, a grilled chicken breast covered with Spinach, Feta cheese and baked potato. Absolutely delicious and very filling! For $1.70 more you can get the dinner which includes a bowl of soup and a dessert! Tons of food! The service was good our waitress was friendly, attentive and very helpful. The atmosphere was nice and comfortable. Because of social distancing rules some tables and booths were blocked off. This did not take away from the friendly, welcoming atmosphere of Petros Restaurant. Try this place for some good food."
