Very responsive. * zero 0 stars goes to: The psychiatry side of this business. It is only beneficial to the psychiatrists they employ, not their patients. I’ve had Brittany Heffernan and from the beginning she has not been personable. Impossible to directly contact or leave messages directly with. You have to go through a secretary and play telephone tag. She works very easy hours in respect to anyone in the medical field. She is a physicians assistant (PA) not a medical doctor (MD). You can look up the difference on google. This is factual information only. For reference and validity of my personal opinion: I am a nurse with 7 years of working experience in in-patient hospitals, out-patient private practice settings. I am also a patient at MMW. Therapy is beneficial for anyone and everyone. Again, I highly recommend the psychologist/therapist, Carrie Johnson who works at MMW. Depending on your insurance and direct needs, you can see a wonderful therapist here but should seek out a different psychiatrist."

"they are the absolute best I love Michigan mental wellness. They really care about me and know me as a person not just a number or another patient. They care about me and they do everything possible and have done everything possible to make me happy and whole and not depressed anymore, my life has changed 180° since Dr. Britnny which is what I call her. I don’t care if she’s a PA or whatever she is a good woman who loves and cares about every patient she cares for and she saved my life when she put me on a new antidepressant I can never repay her for that except it to say thank you Dr. Brittany for saving my life I was so depressed I thought I would never get out of bed again after losing my daughter at such a young age but Dr. Britnny got me through it by talking to me and giving me the empty depressant and encouraging me to get additional therapy which I did and still do I just can’t think of anyway other than this to thank them all there for what they’ve done for me"

"This psychiatric establishment surpasses any I've encountered in my 20 years of managing my mental health. The receptionist is exceptionally efficient, polite, courteous, and professional. Dr. Grisham, recommended by another psychiatrist, has been the best recommendation I've ever received. He takes the time to genuinely listen, providing a sense of acknowledgment and care. I am immensely grateful to this establishment for their unwavering support in helping me manage my mental health, allowing me to be a successful and productive member of society. "I didn’t have an appointment with Mrs S. for 6 months. They sent me remainder but I never received the link to the appointment . Why they use the operator (google) that doesn’t work well with the phones ? They should switch it when it doesn’t work well for the patients. When I said to the receptionist that I will not use their services anymore because I constantly do not receive the links she said : “Ok but remember to pay us 160$”. And “Sorry that’s your phone’s fault “. That’s how Michigan Mental Wellness takes care of the patients."

"I really like Dr. Samantha but the office staff are terrible with follow up. On multiple occasions, I have called to refill a prescription only to check in with the pharmacy days later to find out it was never called in. They close on fridays so sometimes it’s not until the following Monday until I can actually follow up AGAIN and request a refill. This happens almost every month. I also don’t receive consistent billing information- sometimes we get a bill, sometimes we don’t. Usually I find out payment is due when I speak to my doctor again. The office operations definitely need improving."
