"I first met Dr. Best in 2018 when I was at the lowest point of my life. He looked me in the eyes and said that he could get me better. This man and his staff saved my life. The Neuroscience center works miracles. Dr. Best and his staff are truly remarkable. I look forward to going to the Neuroscience Center knowing I am getting the best care out there. Fast forward 5 years and I am a seasoned veteran here. Dr. Best is a pioneer, which is why other doctors and clinics may tend to have a different view than his own. I have seen countless lives get saved here and continue to see it. Financing these treatments is not the easiest and can be challenging. I understand the frustration with some reviews. Please note that Dr. Best is not a crook. He is kind, empathetic, and cares about you and his craft. Insurance companies are the real crooks!"

"Dr best is a crook. He overdoses people on ketamine. I’m talking 2500mg+. These doses are not studied on people with mood disorders, and have many bad side effects. Frequently when I’d come home from a treatment I’d vomit in the car, be unable to walk, dizzy, and urinating on myself from the ketamine. I would not remember any of that and my parents would tell me what was happening the next day. Any ketamine clinic or anesthesiologist in the country will tell you this is not safe, especially for mood disorders. Ive since had ketamine treatments in 3 other states, and everyone of those told me that doses that high have serious danger. After I left the center after spending almost $70000 I had even worse ptsd from the gaslighting and fear mongering by dr best. I was sick for months. I started to record our sessions for the last month I saw dr best. I played back the recordings to my family, other providers, and other ketamine providers. He is perhaps the most narcissistic person i’ve ever met in my entire life. Nurses don’t care, best doesn’t care, all they want is your money. Stay away. I know you treat ‘the most complex cases of mental illnesses’. My question is, at what cost? costing patients more than a down payment on a house? any sense of self they have left? Go to a reliable ketamine clinic who uses evidence based peer reviewed studies and has knowledgeable doctors. When asked about where he gets his evidence, he is only able to cite sources he wrote. Save your money, save your sanity, and stay away from dr best."

"Steve Best is a bully, a crook, a terrible doctor and an even worse human being. I met with Best in late September of 2018, and it's safe to say I will never go to that bully again. It had been a month and a half since my dad had died, which I had explained to Mr best. Not only did he say that it wouldn't affect me in the long run, he said I was a waste of his time, I'm his worst patient, and even tried to kick me out of his office. After he insulted me like that, I started swearing, which he said was my way of "disrespecting his staff." On top of that, Best was trying to essentially force me into taking a bunch of antibiotics, but didn't explain how they work after asking him multiple times. He then said he was going to give me the go-ahead to get my brain scanned, but didn't even explain how that works after I asked him multiple times. Eventually I said to him that he's a joke, and he then told me that he would call paramedics and have me taken to a hospital after they force me into an ambulance. I recommend you stay far away from this man, for he is a crook, a bully, and is a pathetic lowlife for a human being, and does not deserve to have his job anymore with how unprofessional he is."
