"Birmingham Vision Care refused to refund or transfer the $50 deposit they require for scheduling an appointment. Just moved to the area and was looking for an optometrist. I'm a lawyer and my sometimes I have a client emergency that arises that requires me to reschedule appointments. I called as soon as I could, first thing in the morning, to reschedule my afternoon appointment, but they have a zero-tolerance policy apparently. I will take my patronage elsewhere. I spend hundreds of dollars a year on contacts and glasses and they lost a long term patient over $50."
