"We brought our two Golden Retriever puppies to Third Coast Canine Academy for their initial SIX week training. Lauren was absolutely amazing with our pups, but more importantly, with us. She was able to teach us how to train our pups. She was patient, kind, encouraging, and supportive. We loved that she recognized our strengths and weaknesses, and was able to provide encouragement and suggestions along the way. Best of all, she seemed to genuinely enjoy our training sessions, and give belly rubs to our pups and laugh with their silly antics. Her facility was very clean and welcoming. We recommend Lauren without hesitation, and will return to her for advanced lessons."

"Third Coast Canine Academy and Lauren are absolutely the best. But first I must apologize, I really thought I left a review with our first dog, Carmel Comet Cupcake, but I do not see it and I am sure that I messed it up….. Sorry about that Lauren. I only gave five stars because I couldn’t give ten!!!! Maya Zamaya is our second Siberian Husky that we have taken to Lauren. Yes, Second. Siberian. Husky. We had great success with Comet right out of the box. Maya is taking more work, because she is ‘more husky’ than Comet is, or maybe it is just us being spoiled by Comet, but she is off-lead trained (too) and doing amazing when she is the only doggie on the walk. And getting better when both dogs are on the walk too. We couldn’t ask for better results and we know that we need to keep up with our end of the bargain for ourselves and our puppies’ safety. I tell all my friends that is the best money we have spent on our best friends. (ourselves???) And I believe that you would say that same thing. Lauren knows her stuff when it comes to dog training. She communicates well. She posts online. She is helpful beyond training. She has a great facility. And her schedule keeping is impeccable. Best recommendation I can make….. We went back a second time!! I believe Lauren has a very good video of Comet on her FB that is from Art in the Park in downtown Petoskey, as well. "Our furry family member, Oliver, is a very sweet but very spirited Jack Russell Terrier. He was nine months old when we started training with Lauren. Although she has a set course of lessons, she is extremely willing to adapt to the individual needs of your pup. In addition to the core teaching, we asked for help working on Oliver's dog-to-dog interactions. Lauren made an on-site visit to observe his behavior and gave us some invaluable tips to work into our routine. She teaches your dog to focus with a very kind and low-key manner that Oliver really responded to. We will definitely continue to work on our homework and have already seen a noticeable improvement in Ollie's behavior. My husband and I were very pleased with our experience and would highly recommend Third Coast Canine Academy to any pet parent."
