"Gary is easy to talk to and a great listener when it comes to opening up about your personal life (struggles, stressors, relationships, etc.). His only downfall is he is too nice! As one of his patients, I felt that he did not understand the younger generation as well and tried to offer immediate solutions instead of diving more into what might be causing problems. My guess is his clinical training influenced his practice by going too much "by the book" instead of tailoring his sessions to the nuances of his patients' personal lives. Gary always keeps it real in his sessions and doesn't try to sugarcoat anything, but I feel like his practice is best suited for older adults, instead of millennials and gen-z."
