"Breakfast was at 7AM and included, the staff were also all very nice. Free coffee and tea in the lobby was avaliable and they had a small area where snack could be purchased. The pool was small but I was just happy there was a pool. I thought it was unusual to have the entry lights only turn on after inserting your keycard. I can see how this might be a helpful reminder to take it before leaving the room, but when I first checked in, I was stumbling for my phone flashlight in the dark."

"I Liked The Location. I Was Very Comftorable There And The Rooms Were In Good Condition But The Service Was Not The Best. Although Every Time We Entered The Hotel They Asked Us How We Were Doing, They Never Really Cared If We Needed Anything. We Called The Front Desk Several Times To Get Fresh Towels But They Did Not Answer No Matter How Many Times We Called. In Conclusion I Give 3 Stars Because Of The Low Services."

"I had a great experience when staying at this hotel. Every staff member we came in contact with was very helpful, and cheerful. It was refreshing. I didn’t mind the breakfast either, made my own waffle and I think kids would enjoy that."

"What sets this property apart from the rest is Anna, the woman who was at the front desk each night. We normally get excellent service at Hilton Garden Inn hotels, but this was another level altogether, maybe what you'd get at a 4 Seasons. Anna speaks perfect English with a Russian/Ukrainian accent. We have seriously never experienced anyone more helpful and patient than Anna at ANY hotel or resort. Even when she had to deny our request to get a key made for one of the girls who was waiting for her chaperone to get back to the hotel, she gave us a friendly and logical explanation as to why she could not oblige us. Every time we came in from the parking lot, Anna was situated right next to the front door to greet us, and always asked if she could do anything to make us more comfortable. This place worked very well for my daughter and the rest of her teammates on Team Wyoming Girls 14U hockey team. We were there for the Motown Cup tournament, and the hotel was convenient to USA Hockey Arena, Allen Park ice rink, and Yak Arena in Wyandotte. Rooms were decent and clean, similar to other Hampton Inns we have visited. I hope we are fortunate enough to return someday."

"Room was big and bed was ok. We stayed for 5 days and despite leaving everyday early the room has never been made. No trash. No beds. No towels. Shower gel was empty when we arrived. The freight trains from Ford are passing by really close and going very early. So would pick a different hotel for Detroit next time."
