"Booked through Expedia and the hotel staff messed up our room/bed accommodations so we didn't have adequate sleeping arrangements for our fam of 4 (hotel fully booked otherwise). Staff also refused refund or other accommodations."

"Pool is freezing, kids turned blue in 20 minutes. I didn’t even get in it was so cold and the pool room was about 60 degrees. Coffee was empty in morning. Breakfast was nasty bagel and boiled eggs. Coffee was empty at front desk and every luggage cart has broken wheels. Wow what a mess."

"It was our first time in this hotel chain. It was very nice. The staff was cordial. The room was clean. The big bathroom was a nice surprise. There was a fridge and microwave in our room. Also pet friendly. We would definitely consider staying here again."

"Location cannot be beat if your looking to spend time at Great Lakes Crossing. Staff was friendly and helpful. The room was okay. The bathroom and beds were clean but the carpet was really gross. Multiple large stains on the carpet and one of the upholstered chairs. Carpet felt grimy to the touch. The pool was our main reason for staying as my son asked for a "hotel pool" for his birthday. It was so cold with a slimy floor and visible brown algae growing on the sides that we barely used it. I tried looking past the yuck but the temperature was so intolerable we had to get out when my sons lips started turning purple and he couldnt stop shivering. A major let down for us. The breakfast was standard. The waffle making station was nice. The sausage and potatoes were okay. A good selection for a complimentary breakfast."

"The lobby and staff were fantastic! The entire property is beautiful and exudes a warm and welcoming atmosphere. Our room was incredibly spacious. However, despite these positives, there were a few aspects that detracted from our overall experience. Firstly, we noticed multiple dark stains on the carpet in our room, which unfortunately made us hesitant to take off our shoes and fully enjoy the comfort of the space. Additionally, the bathroom sink tap presented an inconvenience as it lacked a proper warm setting. It seemed to only offer either icy cold or scalding hot water, and its sensitivity added further frustration by making it difficult to achieve a comfortable temperature. Moreover, the shower head settings were not functioning properly, limiting our desired water flow to either a forceful gush or overly intense jets. To our dismay, we discovered the presence of black mold on the bottom rails of the shower doors and even on some shower walls. It was disheartening to realize that the shower may not have been thoroughly cleaned before our stay, as evidenced by the mold we could wipe away with a tissue. Lastly, we were taken aback to discover an unexpected mall surcharge fee on our bill. It seemed rather peculiar since one would assume that a hotel of this caliber would have a prearranged agreement, encompassing any additional charges within the already substantial $300 per night room rate. Despite these few setbacks, we greatly appreciated the efforts of the attentive staff and the appeal of the overall property. Addressing these issues would undoubtedly elevate the experience to a higher level of comfort and satisfaction for all guests it"
