"I've been coming here since I was a child, a little stay-cation spot for many in the area. I've seen this place at its best & its worst and I'll have to say I've never had to clean my own room first. The new owners have done a good job with what's been updated, hallways, paint outside, new bedding and curtains (just things I noticed) Now I know they took thuis place over when it was in bad shape, but that is no excuse for the cleanliness of the room. I've attached multiple photos. I cleaned housed for 4 years and these kinds of things don't build up after a day or 2 of sitting empty. After my son was up coughing half the night I decided to check the filters to the heater in the room and they were absolutely disgusting, which wasn't surprising after laying in bed and looking up to find giant cobwebs in every corner of the room. The top of the fridge was dusty and never wiped down, not to mention the fridge was uneven and broken inside, with frozen ice in the frezzer that had old food or something stuck inside. All the mirrors were dirty with spots and smears. There was mold in the grout around the tub and inside the toilet. The pool was finally open tho which was nice although it was a little slimy. If you choose to stay here just bring your own cleaning supplies. Definitely disappointing as it was pretty gross. The updates are nice but it's not going to madder if they don't clean it."

"Let me preface this by saying we knew it wouldn't be great because it was so cheap so we weren't expecting much; however, there were a few things that could have been avoided to make this a better stay. We'll start with the front desk: Check-in was quick and easy, and the man behind the front desk was friendly. Next will be the doors. Although the exterior doors (with the exception of the lobby doors) had a pad to swipe your key to get in, they were unlocked. This warranted some hesitation regarding security, which I will touch on again later. Our room appeared clean and tidy when we entered. However, once we got settled, we noticed cleanliness was slightly lacking. The stand the TV was on, the end table, and the remote all were very sticky to the touch. We also noticed the toiletries in our bathroom had appeared to be used. The bed linens had a few small stains but appeared to be clean otherwise. We took the stairs, which were dimly lit, down to the pool, which was also dimly lit. Underneath the stairs, it looked as though someone had been sleeping/living there as there was a makeshift bed, a bucket, and some toiletry items. One of the reasons the exterior doors being unlocked is probably a security/safety hazard. The pool was large and appeared clean. There was a nice lounge area where we could sit to watch the kids. The kids also used the sauna and said it was nice. The bathroom/locker room in the pool area was fine with the exception of what appeared to be some mold on the stall doors. Other things to note: People were smoking both weed and cigarettes in their rooms. We could smell it as we walked past other rooms in the hallway, and we could smell it periodically coming through to our room. There are only 4 or 5 channels that come through on the TV with no channel list in the room so you have to go through every channel to discover this. There seemed to be a few people living in their vehicles and one large RV in the parking lot. Lastly, my son said a man knocked on the door to our room at 4 in the morning. He didn't answer the door, but he watched him through the peephole and saw him go to numerous doors to either knock or put his ear up to doors to listen through them. Conclusion: Although it worked for us to stay for one night while we were in town, we would not stay again. I've stayed at "budget hotels" that were cleaner and had higher security measures in place."

"The 3 night special here was a great deal and it did not change even for holidays or weekends. Staff was helpful and I actually decided to book another 3 nights instead of checking out as planned because of how helpful and patient BB was with me! I really appreciated the way he seemed to have pride in his work and seemed to care that I was happy with my stay while here. Everything was great and my only complaint is that there wasn’t breakfast served. However, for the price and quality of everything else.. the trade off was well worth it! Definitely stay here if you are looking for an economical, clean, friendly hotel! If yot stay here, BB is the most patient staff member and will help with anything he can!"

"We are not very picky where we stay long as it is clean. We didn't want anyone cleaning our room so we did it ourselves. When we stripped the beds there were no matress covers and they were stained. The pillows didn't have any protection covers either. So we slept on unprotected dirty beds and unprotected pillows. Half the electric outlets didn't work and the room telephone didn't work for me to even call the front desk. The hallway smelled like pee and cigarettes. When we checked out they charged me an extra 100 dollars when I called and asked why they said there was blood on the sheets and a pee soaked towel. Well my daughter had started her period and as for the towel that was used to clean the tub before using. I actually bought towels to use since the hotel towels were thin and small. I will not stay here again and will not recommend it. Also when I called the front desk girl was so rude and very unprofessional. The only one out of the staff that was professional and kind was a girl named Amy"
