"Rooms were clean and the owner was very friendly and accommodating. Would highly recommend staying here! It is in a great location to downtown Bellaire which has lots of cool bars and restaurants as well as Shanty Creek and Torch Lake."

"The lady was terribly rude!! We gave a pontoon and she freaked out about it. We have stayed here several times in the past with no problems. She made us rent a space across the street. We were the only tenants at the motel all night. Could have parked 15 pontoons there with no problems. It is last time they will have our unappreciated business. Try to support sole business owners but not up for the hasty treatment."

"The rooms were clean and quit spacious. The nightly rate was slightly higher than expected for its condition. However it is not the rooms condition or the nightly rate for being the reason of a poor review. The owner was flat out rude and very unprofessional. I will be certain to never use the Bellaire Inn again because of this. I had booked a room with my two daughters while visiting family. After checking in we left for dinner. We had gone to Shorts and be outside by the fire pits they had downtown. Loved it! Unfortunately it was too cold for my girls and they needed to warm up. It was 6pm when we all came back to the room, followed by two of my family members. We didn’t have our shoes off before my phone rang. It was the owner questioning me on how many people were in my room. I was shocked, within 30 seconds of entering our room she was calling. I told her I had two family members visiting us, they would not be staying overnight. In a short snippy voice she informed me that I failed to tell her that more people were coming, that it was only my daughters and I who are allowed in the room. Due to COVID, my family would have to leave immediately. I was shocked again. I asked her why this wasn’t told to me when checking in, no guests aloud for visiting. She was very defensive and insisted that I was told, and I should have known better as this is a state rule. I apologized for breaking the rules and hung up. I was in shock, I never had that happen to me before. She was extremely rude and it was uncalled for. Being a small business owner myself I’m aware of several different ways to handle this situation. Instead she made me feel like I was purposely breaking the rules and I felt like I was being belittled and spied on. I will NEVER recommend the Bellaire Inn."

"I was skeptical about an unknown hotel but was pleasantly surprised and impressed. The rooms were modern. Most importantly they were VERY clean. I'd stay again and recommend. It's right near Torch Lake. Nice restaurants in town and little shops."

"Needs updated rooms. Better lighting but the beds are great, showers are nice. Just needs some updates. Restaurant in the same lot? If someone opened this up? Gold mine for.sure. there is really no breakfast place around other than McDonald's . Lovely area to visit. Big rooms and quiet for sure. Loved the stay."
