"Walls are paper thin, and you can hear everything, including the conversation and kids running up and down the hall . The phone didn't work in the room . The shower needed to be fixed."

"We stayed our first night in town somewhere else, it was a horrible experience. Came here for the second night and it was great. We have stayed here many times since, in the last couple years and have always had a good experience. I will say that we have paid a different price each time for the same room type. But overall satisfied."

"It was across the street from a pot shop and the entire area smelled like pot. The remote for the TV didn't work. The in wall heating and cooling unit was dirty and noisy. The room looked like a dorm room with a whole wall of cabinets that took up much needed floor space. The water in the lobby for tea tasted like coffee. Speaking of tea, the brand of tea offered is the worst for a serious tea drinker, but I couldn't drink it anyway since the water tasted like coffee. If a Hilton property was available in town that is where we would of stayed."

"This was a confusing review to do because the hotel stay was great. However, I made a reservation by phone. I got a room at the price the guy quoted for 2 queen beds and was happy. When I looked at my cc statement I had a much higher price and even a charge for some weird amount of 5.50. I called the hotel and got in touch with a guy that was so dismissive considering it reflects on his hotel customer service. He told me it wasn’t his problem it was reservations problem .. they had upgraded me to a suite and thats the price. I explained I did not ask for a suite and he referred me back to them. He reminded me I was fortunate to get a suite for that price. I told him again I DID NOT ASK FOR A SUITE. I then got schooled on the going price for hotel rooms… I then told him it’s IRON MOUNTAIN I used to live there and the price at that discount would be higher than should be. AND… I DID NOT ASK FOR A SUITE. As it turns out no confirmation was sent and reservations is checking into the hotel and the guy that took the reservation. I do think they will do the right thing and refund the money they took from me without my consent but please make sure you do have a confirmation and that it says what you were told in making a reservation. To the guy at the hotel… a little apology for the trouble and the confusion would have gone a long way. You were not professional. Good customer service is helpful and not condescending in tone."

"Beware of this place. I had two rooms booked for tonight, one for my brother and his wife, and one for my wife and myself. Unfortunately, last Saturday, my brother contracted Covid, and presumably, he is the one who now gave it to his wife. Needless to say we will not be traveling to iron Mountain today. I canceled the room on Sunday and was informed that I could get no refund at all. When I booked the room, I repeatedly asked how much time do I need to give in case I have to cancel. They gave me an amount of time, but told me that I would lose my deposit. Unfortunately, I did not ask how much the deposit was, which happens to be the total bill. If for any reason, even if it’s out of your control and you are forced to cancel, they will keep your money and they are not giving it back. Either way, they’ll probably re-rent the rooms and double their money. Don’t get me wrong. This is not going to put us out on the street, but taking $500 from a retired couple who are on Social Security is a real sting. I strongly advise staying with another chain. There’s a lot of competition out there."
