"We stayed in Room 11 (the den), which was even better than the photos online. Excellent value and bursting with rich history and character. I would 100% stay again and would probably choose the same room again as well. I'm so glad this beautiful historic home is being preserved and enjoyed. The caveats are twofold: In an old house, the walls and ceilings are thin, and in a first-floor room, we heard every movement in the rooms above us. Second, a business should not persistently bill itself as a B&B if they don't actually serve breakfast."

"Stayed in suite 14. Beautiful antique room. Bed was firm and comfortable. Has a Jacuzzi tub, that takes about 15 minutes to fill due to low pressure and when rinsing with shower found out there was only hot not cold water. Made it very difficult to rinse. Our overall experience was very good, even with that hiccup."

"Nice historic home and it was comfortable to stay, however, after check in we were given keys to an unfamiliar house with zero lights turned on. First thing we did was go through and find the light switches to light the halls and stairways. Not welcoming at all. I understand the home is old, but our toilet seat was loose, wallpaper is peeling and they should probably not call it a bed and breakfast as there is no breakfast, not even a piece of candy, they cited COVID on the website but across the street at the main house breakfast is served to all guests. While pleasant, I felt as if we were thrown the keys and that was it. Little things go a long way, the binder that held the history of the house was plastic, and falling apart. Told there was ice...no ice. Some reapholstering of the furniture would be nice as the chairs are uncomfortable to sit in. Positives- comfortable bed, nice fire place. Fix the little things and it would be great place instead of a good place."

"Very nice stay in the Carriage House, a whole upstairs suite to yourselves with small kitchen and plenty of living space. Steep stairs, tight parking but quiet and airy. The beds and pillows are excellent."
