"What a great find! The room was comfortable and clean. It was quiet and the location great. Mike was so friendly and accommodating; we really felt comfortable and enjoyed hanging in the common area chatting with him. I would definitely stay there again and recommend it to friends."

"Amazing experience. Mike was so accommodating and flexible with us. When we called to book, there was no availability except for the pricier suite in the separate building, but mike let us book that for one night and then move to a cheaper room mid-stay, and moved all of our luggage for us! Our checkout wasn't rushed even though we definitely missed it by an hour or two. Mike is such a friendly guy, and seemed so genuinely interested in the lives of his guests! He probably learned our whole life story just chatting with him at the front desk and over the phone. He is also well-tied into the community and knows so many local figures (I lived in Door County for a bit and we knew a lot of the same people! #LetSpideyBlade). We will definitely try to find an excuse to stay with him again whenever visiting the peninsula! Also, Mike has a podcast where he interviews locals. "My husband and I enjoyed our stay here. Our room was very clean and bed comfortable. The room had everything we needed and was very spacious. Liked that is was tucked away just behind another property and the main road (Hwy 42). The gardens were beautiful and it had a nice parking lot. It is in walking distance from restaurants, etc and right across from the view of the lake. Would absolutely recommend"

"We had a great experience here! The smaller building was charming and also made for a quieter stay. We absolutely loved the non smoking and no children under 16 years old policies. The room was incredibly clean and cozy, we couldn't remember the last time we stayed in a hotel room that was as clean. Mold, mildew, and other allergens are always a concern in hotels and there was no sign of that here. This is a Green hotel, which we appreciated; there are recycling containers in the rooms, and in the lobby there are compostable utensils and coffee cups. We enjoyed the free coffee, fruit, and oatmeal packets in the mornings, and especially appreciated that there were sugar free organic oatmeal options. If you're someone who is specific about your environment, then this clean and green place is a great option!"
