"Big clean rooms, friendly staff and they canceled our first nights stay w/o charge when we were delayed due to car troubles. Lots of fun stuff nearby as well."
"Last min trip on the Goldwing to the UP . Covered parking is nice .a couple restaurants within walking distance LA Cantina Mexican was excellent and we always hit the Ambassador for pizza and brews . Rooms and property dated but beds where very comfortable . They are not ADA compliant pool and hottub are ladders only . My gal had a difficult time getting out due to a stroke . While we where in the pool a senior came in and if I hadn't been there to assist she would have had not been able to get out. SO if you can't climb a ladder and want to use pool this is not the place !!!! Continental breakfast was poorly stocked ran out of yogurt in fridge . This an ok place but for me not for future trips to the UP. Motorcycle friendly not pet friendly . Noticed they never opened the windows hades to the office was always closed off ."
"When I wasn't happy with my first room, they gave me a different one that was comfortable and clean. There's one concern with this hotel- it doesn't seem to be handicap accessible. There are several different levels and no elevator."
"Rooms were clean and comfortable but were dated. Very convenient to the Michigan Tech campus and exploring the upper UP. The Breakfast was satisfactory."
"Had a great experience staying here. Friendly staff, long breakfast hours, spacious rooms. Extra parking across the street. The hotel is quaint and the rooms and furniture are in good shape. We had a snag and had to stay an extra night. They were able to accommodate us without swapping rooms."
