"Spent over 2k on a dinghy and a motor for our business. The older lady who helped us kept pushing us towards more expensive motors and tried to upsell us on more expensive accessories when it wasn't necessary. She had no advice on motors or what we would need. We bought the motor because we were just trying to get a boat in the water ASAP but no one told us they don't allow returns on motors, which is ridiculous. The lake we were intending the use the dinghy on doesn't allow gas motors and we weren't able to return it despite never even using the motor (it never got in the water). Staff were unpleasant and unhelpful when I came in to return. We went to Lockeman's Hardware for an electric trolling motor and they were MUCH better about educating us on our options and we feel better about our purchase. I won't be going back to this store and we buy a lot of water related gear. Very frustrating experience and I don't feel like they care about customers."
