"This is the best fitness studio I have ever been to. They have a great price on their unlimited classes membership and a huge variety of classes. It’s judgement free, fun, and there’s a sense of community here! The facilities are clean and they have lots of equipment to make your workout either push you or help you modify. I love the variety of dance, strength, and yoga classes!"

"I have known of Nafas for years through the location in addition to owning a neighboring business in Royal Oak. I have been on the search for a fitness/yoga studio for years -- since the studio I was going to closed mid 2020. I struggled to find anywhere that had availability ongoing that aligned with my own schedule that was also accessible financially and had genuine, passionate people leading classes. I attended a class at the Hazel Park Art Fair with an instructor, Hailey Z, who shared that she teaches at Nafas. Her class felt very inclusive and non judgmental, which was really important to me. I looked at the schedule and there was ongoing opportunity for the classes I wanted to take (mainly yoga) but the other classes listed had both openings to book + various times to take them. Building a fitness routine back into my daily schedule has been a journey since 2020 and it's a vital aspect of my wellbeing but was not simple in finding a space that really resonated with my values and had a flexible schedule. What really inspired me to share my experience with Nafas, is the Owner, Janelle. I was a new member and she had no context of my journey to find a studio. Janelle welcomed me inside on my first day as a member to do my own flow as I arrived 12 hours early for class when I made a booking error on my calendar. She saw my embarrassment and encouraged me to stay and take care of my body instead of going home. That small gesture was really significant to me. What she didn't know is that months prior (while in my search for a gym or studio) I had attended classes at a nearby place that had cancelled on me without notice (twice) as I was the only person to reserve for class. I felt so discouraged and disappointed -- getting the courage to get back to the gym was a long, long road for me. I've attended quite a few classes in the last few weeks as a new member and I've enjoyed the yoga offerings and am building up the courage to try the other classes soon. Thank you Janelle, for an exceptional experience. Very thankful to have found your studio."

"The owner, Janel, is very warm and welcoming. She won me over at the handshake, but I had already been referred by a buddy who wanted a change from Orange Theory. Then, another customer greeted me and showed me the place as if she was the ambassador. Oh, the content: they have a variety of group workouts and some cardio machines you can do on your our. I have been doing Tabata classes (20 secs intense and 10 active rest). I attended back to back yoga classes on a Wednesday. Don't recall the names but the combination was excellent. I highly recommend Nafas."

"So far I love this place. The instructors are great and all of the equipment is there for you to use. There's a wide variety of classes and it seems like something fun is being offered at all times so there's always something I can do that works with my schedule. Edit: Now that I've been attending a little while, I can honestly say that I LOVE this place. The energy and positivity feels very genuine which really appeals to me. The workouts are so varied that I never get bored. I had no idea there were so many different exercises! I WANT to come here every day just because I love being here. And since there's a class of every level of intensity offered on a daily basis, I really could come every day without burning myself out. It's brilliant and I'm so glad I joined."

"I am so happy to have discovered a gem like Nafas! Every class and instructor here is fantastic, and I really look forward to working out and feeling healthy. The atmosphere is friendly and judgment-free, what matters is that you have fun!! The instructors will help you modify to accommodate your needs to make sure you're getting the most out of the class to the best of your abilities. I'd list my favorite classes but you may as well just look at their website because I'd just be listing off all of them! They're also expanding to add on a suite just for yoga, so there are more amazing things to come from Nafas! I'm on the monthly unlimited class package. It's definitely worth it and by far the greatest money I spend every month!"
