"I Googled martial art schools back in January 2023 (when Boombox was previously known as MKG) to begin learning basic martial art techniques. I have a toddler son and was looking to explore an unfamiliar routine of exercise and meet new people. When I arrived to my first session, I felt so welcomed by the class, which was without a doubt a direct reflection of the owner's (Kurt) values for building the martial arts community. Kurt has been remarkably kind, encouraging, and meets individuals where they are at in their journey. Judge free zone couldn't describe Boombox any better. The school's culture is supportive and I am thankful to have gained a community of friends.
