"I've been training at Smash Hit Kickboxing Club for over 2 years and highly recommended it. It's in the Business District of historic Pontiac, and the building has charm. It was built in 1886, and when you enter, there's a long stairwell that takes you to the 2nd floor. Between the all wood floors, and 20 long bags hanging from the ceiling, it reminds me of the Rocky movies. The owner Ken, was a professional kickboxer, a national champion in the 80's and he retired undefeated. Plus the cardio workout is off the chart, and it will get you in shape quickly."

"I went into kickboxing as a newbie. I’ve always wanted to do it, but was scared because I have no idea what I am doing and none of my friends would join me. Well they had a great special going, so I sucked it up, signed up and I went alone! 10 classes later, I am hooked! It’s so addicting and FUN!! This is the only exercise that I love and look forward to going as much as I can! Ken is a fantastic instructor! He takes his time to teach good technique and makes it enjoyable! The music is great, the people are fantastic! If you’ve ever wanted to try kickboxing, DO IT! You will not regret it! I would suggest starting with their intro class “Kickboxing for Dummies” on Saturday first, and then go from there."
