Wind Walker Farms is a unique horseback riding facility located at 9204 Valley View Drive in Fenton, Michigan, United States. What sets us apart is our focus on teaching our students about how horses perceive the world through their prey-animal mentality. We believe in meeting horses where they are and communicating with them in a way that makes sense to them, rather than forcing them to learn in a human-centric way. Our mission is to bridge the gap between horses and people, teaching our students the language of the horse and how to effectively communicate with them. Our goal is to cultivate a strong horse-and-rider relationship based on understanding and effective communication.
At Wind Walker Farms, we offer trail rides and lessons on our expansive 51-acre property, which features flat trails for relaxing rides and challenging hills for those seeking adventure. Our facilities include a heated indoor round pen, lounge, indoor riding arena, outdoor riding arena, and obstacle course.
Our founder, who has a deep connection with his favorite horse Top Secret, has used his experiences with this special horse to shape the philosophy and programs at Wind Walker Farms. Top Secret has been instrumental in teaching natural horsemanship and has been involved in various events and activities, including natural horsemanship seminars, movie sets, and therapy sessions for children. The bond between our founder and Top Secret exemplifies the importance of trust, communication, and understanding in the horse-and-rider relationship.
Wind Walker Farms is not just a place for experienced horse owners, but also for beginners who have a passion for horses. "Absolutely Amazing! I took my boys there for the story time option and it was super fun! We played with small farm animals, kittens and a bunny, they read us 2 stories, and then we got to brush & pet a mini horse. It was an amazing time & my kids had a blast! Definitely recommend taking your kids there. They also offer horseback riding camps/classes. Located in Fenton."
"Windwalker Farms is by far the best horse farm/training facility I have ever been to. Tristan & Tim's love and respect for the horses is tangible and their lead trainer Ellie is phenomenal. In addition to the heated indoor barns with a viewing room, the trail riding at Windwalker Farms is breathtaking and rewarding. I highly recommed WWF to anyone seeking adventure, fun, and connection to horses. *Individual lessons are also VERY reasonably priced- worth double the price for what you gain in technique & horse-human dynamics in 60 minutes. My son and I have been riding here for 2 years and will continue to take lessons as long as we are in MI."
"I chose this horse ranch for horse riding lessons for my kids, because of their training model. They teach how to build a relationship with the horse, in order to improve your riding skills. Everyone is so nice! This is a great place to take your kids!!! I would recommend it to anyone!"

I love what they have taught her not only about horse riding , business, value, hard Knox, plus more. Windwalker Farms is a great place for a kid or even an adult to be, work and learn.
