"Brett is very knowledgeable on all aspects of self defense care. Not only does he explain it on a level so you understand, he makes sure you understand. Very patient, calm and collective.. Enjoyed the class, was definitely a boost of confidence to protect myself, my family, and my investments. I definitely recommend this place. No worries out there on the front line here, they use all there own equipment, guns, cartridges and go over everything thoroughly. Even that person never shooting before, you just feel safe in this environment and that is important. All the way around this is the place too go!!!"

"Brett is an incredible instructor. The classroom portion was very informative, and Brett provided a lot of examples to showcase both best and worst practices. The class I attended was full, about 20 people. We had plenty of opportunities to ask questions throughout the classroom section. When it came to the range portion, Brett spent time individually with each person. I appreciated that he took the time to make sure everyone felt comfortable with each step before moving on to the next. I had taken a CPL class about 10 years ago, but did not decide to obtain my permit after attending the class. This class was much better compared to the other I had attended. It was much more hands-on and better preparation for obtaining the CPL, as well as basic fundamentals. I’ve already recommended this class to a few people I know! *If you are attending a class here in the winter, be prepared to spend a few hours outside in the cold, and dress accordingly. For context, it was snowing, and 33 degrees when I attended the class. I wish I had better prepared with gloves, a longer coat and weather-appropriate boots. The classroom was also cold, since it’s a loft space and is not insulated. There is a heater, but I ended up keeping my coat on in the classroom, as did others."
