"I was recommended by my instructor, he told me if you need help, you can trust Craig, he is the man who keep his words. Everyone has their own reasons to learn Jiu Tisu, either for interests in martial arts, self defense, confidence building, competition, weight losing, healthy lifestyle, etc. Craig the owner is the guy you go for. Craig and his team will help you achieve your goal, with various courses taught by instructors from different expertises. Craig will not only share the tips for how to learn and improve the physical skills, but also teaching his unique approach to martial arts, as well as debunk some common myths such as “one’s capability has little to do with their height and shape”, which will blow your mind to see things from a totally different level. From there, you will improve drastically. Meanwhile, Freedom Academy is not just a gym, but also a compassionate community, you won’t feel left behind, because the more experienced members will train with you, by doing so, they also learn themselves. You build endurance and resilience, become stronger, while having fun."

"Incredible gym and facility with something for everyone. Craig demonstrates patience and compassion with his students no matter what level they are at, and the people here will welcome you with open arms. There is an extremely solid level of grappling here for both Gi and No Gi, and competitors of all sizes. Lots of space and the extra work outs are certainly intense. This is definitely a gym that embraces the family atmosphere and philosophy of martial arts, and the people here want to see you succeed and will help push you to meet your goals. Highly recommend!"
