"Had a fairly major mechanical on a tour around Lake Michigan and this was the closest bike shop we could find (heading from Escanaba to Manistique). I intended just to get the parts I needed, be on my way and do the repairs at the campground. But as Mike fished every part I asked for from the shelf, it was pretty clear he knew exactly what I needed and where it was. He even took the time to fix my headset - adjusting it 2-3 times until it was just how I needed it to get back on the road. I cannot recommend this shop enough if you live in the area or are just passing through and need something to keep you moving. If he had jerseys with a UP (or Lake Michigan) theme, I would have bought one and given all 5 stars."

"I highly recommend this shop! The Owner helped me out when I went in for cross-country skis & boots. I had only ever done downhill skiing, and had questions about how different and similar the techniques were. Mike explained all that I needed, and even had the skis in stock. I left with my new equipment later that same day and tried them out at a site he recommended for a beginner. And I LOVE the skis and the sport! I’ll be going back for some downhill skis and boots soon. Thanks Mike, for a really enjoyable experience ❤️"
