Athletico Physical Therapy - Shelby Township

"I am deaf and so going to most places is challenging. I have been going to this Shelby Twp location on Van Dyke for multiple weeks working with Brad and Erica (physical therapists). First, Angie, is the receptionist and scheduler. She is a wonderful "first contact" when you enter the building. She faces me so I can lipread, she repeats when I miss what she said, and she is skilled. She has managed multiple schedule changes because of overlapping appointments at other places and she does it with kindness and patience. Brad and Erica are top-notch therapists. Both of them are skilled, professional, and know how to deal with the unique physical issues I have to repair to help me avoid extensive back surgery. They are both patient with my hearing loss and are friendly and kind. Athletico, in Shelby Twp, is awesome."

"Michelle S. is the best therapist. I broke my wrist and she was recommended by my surgeon. I was scared to go to therapy but Michelle made me feel comfortable and we got along so well. My doctor told me I could quit going after one month but I chose to continue because Michelle was so nice and made therapy fun. I looked forward to going each week. The entire team at Athletico was nice and they were funny. I highly recommend Michelle, you will thank me."

"Couldn't recommend this clinic more. I'm a current patient receiving treatment for deficits from hip and achilles surgeries with a goal to comfortably return to sports. The staff very friendly and personable while maintaining continuity of care which I greatly appreciate. The rehab has been consistently challenging and has progressed as I have, which I would hope for and expect from a good Physical Therapist. I couldn't be happier with my results to date, I've gone from struggling to get my feet beneath me upon waking up to comfortably easing back into the sports I love without restrictions. "An excellent experience. My 1st serious injury and rehab experience. I tore my ACL back in October. Nichole has been there every step of the way from helping me regain strength and some normalcy pre surgery to post surgery rehab. I’ve gone from not wanting to move my leg to being able to walk normally, drive, and now getting into some agility ladder work.
