"I owe the entire staff at Barry County Mental Health my life; The Medical Doctors, Psychiatrists, Registered Nurses & LPNs, Psychotherapists, Office Staff, Receptionists, Telephone Operator, Financial Assistance Department, Billing Department and Mail Room Clerks. The Cleaning Staff, and Maintenance Crew... Everybody that works there and keeps the doors open, keeps the lights on. Everybody that takes the calls and answers the questions. Thank you, All of You. I appreciate everything you do."

"My case has been closed twice now. The latest time I was notified at an appointment they let me set up. I was told I was left a message by the same person who set the appointment for me. So now I'd have to go through the intake process for a 3rd time when clearly nothing has changed in the past month. What a joke. If they were in thr business of helping, they wouldn't be so quick to close the door on people."

"Ever since they got their new place they started going down hill. It got worse when they got rid of 10 therapist. I went months with no therapy because it took them that long to get me a new therapist. I live 25 minutes away I twice I've driven there to find them close and they didnt call to notify me. Several times going all the way there and they tell me I have no appointment. Got a bill in the mail for son using the crisis line and he has insurance. I've taken my kids out of school early for appointment and afterwards find out they r closed. Why schedule an appointment to someone if they knew they would be closed? I've had to cancel my med appointment due to illness and they schedule me 4 months away making it 8 months without seeing doc. I want a med change and I've called the nurse and left messages 3 times and it's been two weeks with no reply. They say you can file a complaint and I have in the past but they dont take it seriously. They give theirselves excuses. Seriously thinking going to pine rest in GR is worth the trip."

"I have had CMH in my life for 8 years, and I can honestly say that they saved my life on a few occasions ! When I was unable to handle life on my own, they stepped up and took charge. I had people through CMH come into my home on a weekly basis the entire time I was there and take charge. I would highly recommend them to anybody who needs help. They are the best !!! And I truly mean that. I can't thank them enough for all they did. I will miss them alot. They became my second family. I would give them 10 stars ! They truly care about you."

"Never even talk about my problems most of the time they either ask if I have a substance abuse problem witch I have stated and written down several time that I don't have one. Or they look at me in silence and then back to asking about my substance abuse which I don't have."
