"Worst place ever! The owner/founder is the most toxic mental health care professional I’ve ever encountered! She raised her voice at me accused me of yelling at her told my 6 year old I was screwing him. Wonderful language in front of a child. Further more told me I needed to learn my place and then after I had already apologized to her twice if I had said or done something wrong she insisted she would only continue our appointment if I apologized to her in her words which she made me repeat after her word for word! The only reason we didn’t tell her to go to hell and leave… well she is the only one who can get my kiddo in with out waiting several months…. I bet there is a reason for that! I wouldn’t accept her assessment if my life depended on it and will NEVER recommend anyone I know go there! She had me in tears! Completely unacceptable care! - Christina"

"I am super glad I was able to continue my care with Erin when she became a part of your office. The staff is super friendly and makes you feel like you're right at home. The vibes of the office make me feel like I'm in a relaxed environment. The intake process is long but I completely understand why. Making sure that you have the right fit for your mental health needs is the most important step in your journey to recovery. It took me a very long time to finally click with someone and I'm blessed that I was finally able to, especially being a male and the bad stigma we face in society in regards to our mental health. I highly recommend checking this place out."

"I started to try to get into West Michigan Psycholigical Services in September 2022. When the papers finally got filled out in October because they forgot to send me the papers in September, they told me it would be 1 month before I here. After 5 phone calls, each saying I would have a therapist in 1 month, I am still waiting. It is now the end of May 2023 and still I have heard nothing. DO NOT GO HERE. THEY DO NOT CARE ABOUT ANYONE!!!"

"Caused my mental health to be worst. Every question they asked me they completely disregarded. Hid needed information through the intake process. Would not have continued if these were expressed. If youre looking to waste 3 months of your life, this is the place for you. This place gives a horrible name to the industry! Would give 0 stars if I could. AVOID. AVOID. AVOID."

"My experience with WMPS started off very well actually. I was able to make an appointment with the psychiatry Physician's Assistant relatively quickly and for the next several months I thought we made great progress on my mental health issues. However, I left my last appointment feeling very confused about the direction of my care and what we were trying to accomplish and so I sent an email asking some follow up questions. I received an email back stating that the PA can't answer these kinds of questions over email. I emailed again letting them know that I was frustrated having to wait until my next visit to get my questions answered. I also let them know I have difficulty keeping up with the PA and tracking with what she's saying. I was professional and cordial. I received an email back from the PA saying she thought our relationship was no longer therapeutic and that she was going to cancel my next appointment. I was "fired", essentially. She then tried to explain our misunderstandings and tell her side of the story, which was fine, but the way she described our meetings and how she understood the direction of my care was completely different than how I would have put it. In my opinion, this speaks to the disconnect between us. In short, yes, it's probably good that I find someone else because we obviously were not on the same page. And I'm sorry but I put a lot of that on the PA's shoulders. It's up to them to communicate clearly and explain exactly what they are thinking. She speaks very fast and tends to get sidetracked a lot and I have a hard time keeping up with that. And it is incredibly frustrating to be "fired" for pushing back the slightest little bit and expressing some of my frustrations. If you come here for medication management, just make sure to ask the PA any and all questions you have. Do not wait to ask them via email because chances are, they will need to wait to be answered until your next visit. She talks very fast and goes off on different tangents a lot during your visit so MAKE SURE you repeat back to her how you understand things. For example, "so if I understand you correctly, _________" or "So what you're saying is _________". This will help you tremendously. My advice to WMPS? make communicating in between visits much easier. And don't fire patient's simply for pushing back and expressing their frustrations. That comes with the territory. Make sure your PA's slow down and clearly communicate the goals of each pateint's care."
