Dental Clinics North - Petoskey/Harbor Springs

"I initially really loved this office. Every experience before the last few over one tooth had been a good one. I go in for normal cleanings with ease. I never wait long and am in and out quickly. They are always pleasant. The receptionists and hygienists really are super positive and caring. However, after a few repeat visits with a new Dentist there over a filling, I've come to have anxiety going here. He even recommended getting a silver filling because that would for sure work, after the first filling ended up having an issue and I still can't chew without pain (I've had all my silver fillings removed to be safer and this recommendation really threw me off.) He also gave me 6 shots to numb me my first visit and it didn't work, so I came back another day. I have been in 4 times over this same tooth which caused me no issues previously. :( I'm bummed I'm having to look for a new dentist in the area when no one takes my insurance except this office. Now I'm going elsewhere and having to pay $$$ to have my tooth fixed."

"I had to wait almost a month to get in after an abscessed tooth sent me to the emergency room. After an exam and x-rays I was given an "emergency" appointment to have the tooth pulled. I showed up ten minutes early for my appointment and was told I did not have an appointment any longer because I had not verified my appointment. She told me they had called me twice and left two messages. I told her I did not get any messages. As it turns out, they were calling the wrong phone number - they had entered it into their computer with one number wrong. She never even said she was sorry. And now? I have to wait SIX MONTHS to have my broken tooth extracted. What in the world am I to do? I lost a day of work for this appointment, and have been on antibiotics for three weeks to ensure the infection would be cleared up for the extraction. So, now, seriously, what do I do? What a nightmare."

"They like to wait until the last minute to reschedule you. I waited on their schedule for a year, only to get a call 3 days before my appointment to cancel. Reason was no hygienist. This was an excuse they used with me before. So I am used to it. However they said they could not get me in until December of next year! That’s like 16 months. After waiting a year. Sorry I’m not waiting 2 years to get my teeth cleaned because you can’t keep employees. Fired!"

"The best! They are friendly and wonderful in personality and professionally too! They will and have personally, for myself and for my kids, gone to any length to accommodate us and get our appointments when we need them and the services that we need done, done. Also in a timely manner. They are very easy going and easy to deal with and talk to, about anything. They are just simply the BEST as well as the nicest! I'm truly grateful for everyone there!
