OSF St. Francis - Walk-In Clinic

"This walk in clinic needs better doctors and better service can in three days ago got a covid and flu shot n it was negative and said it was upper respiratory infection then yesterday went to the er and they tested for everything and they said its not (URI) its (RSV) respiratory syncytial virus infection and (RVS) is totally different then (URI) and to be sounds like the emergency room cares you a lot more then the walk in and said they should of test you for everything and not let get more sick then when I went to the walk in. To me that's wrong cause er said i was lucky I came in to me you have poor health system and if you had lower michigans health system and have the same hospitals like children's hospital, Beaumont hospital or henry ford hospital maybe people will be getting better and get treated right how they should be treated in a walk-in"

"Front office staff is always very kind and courteous. My care received there almost always has been spot on. They've been great at urgent diagnosis and care, e.g., detecting influenza A and prescribing appropriate care. They are on the very very conservative side of prescribing appropriate meds. As a long time sufferer of several conditions, I appreciate the care provided and it has almost always been spot-on and always professional. It's sad that some necessary meds have become a feared method of treatment due to widespread abuse and the hesitancy to prescribe some is very apparent. Nonetheless, I would highly recommend the clinic in a pinch when one can't see one's own pcp or specialist due to delays in scheduling and timing of one's own pcp or one's onset of symptoms. The staff provides excellent treatment. I've been treated for everything from eye infections to flu to stitches and severe sinus infections and care has always been very good and providers are very kind. I'd give 4.5 for hesitancy of prescribing already historically charted meds for treatment and not listening to the insights and knowledge of the patient (I understand not every patient understands their own ailments, but some of us are highly educated and experienced in managing our conditions and should be listened to closely regarding what has and hasn't worked well in the past and what our pcp or specialists due for treatment in specific situations. I wish charting was better organized and accessible across UPHP systems - a large part of the problem). But I still give the clinic 5 stars for overall friendliness, cleanliness, fast desk-to-exam-room, and general care."

"Walked in after Covid 19 test confirmation hoping to get an anti viral prescription. It was 5pm on a Tuesday - their website says they are open till 6:30. They said they were not accepting anymore patients for that day - and they would not give me a prescription - they only treat the symptoms."

"Terrible service and only tested me for one thing, covid which I was negative for, then I continued to call them back since they never called me with results I had to check online to see if test was negative. When I called back next day they wouldnt anything else for me unless I came in to spend more money to see another provider who would also not do their job well. No thank you! I still the same way then when I visited the day before."

"Honestly not even worth a 1 star, they were rude and did not care at all. Some of my vitals were off as well on the paper they gave me. Do not recommend. Went for an infected toenail and they told me to wait."
