"I wish I could go lower than 1 star! Buyer Beware! I signed up in 2018 and even though I called them every month they sold all of the equipment I had already paid for to other divers!!!! I had left it on the rack for students inbetween classes and kept in constant communication! I bought the $4,000 package and so did my wife. In 2022 we cancelled the rest of our order because after 4 years they still could not provide most of the stuff we had already paid for. My dive instructor was not competent or able to teach my class let alone complete the open water exam so I had to transfer the course to Columbus SCUBA Inc. in Ohio to take my open water test at the same quarry Scuba Centers uses and this cost me an additional $100. After multiple complaints and asking to speak to someone else you are always turned back to Paul, the worst customer service employee I have ever met. Lazy, takes no notes, has no idea what you take or what he gives you. He sold my wife used equipment and gave mine away to other people even though it was labeled. My regulator had dives logged on it from a retreat the center had taken and then they "re-boxed" it to use claiming it was new. Sorry, computers have logs and do not lie. Every time I've been to the store since 2018 they had empty shelves and make excuses. Don't buy it if you can't walk out the door with it!!! Worse business I've ever seen!"

"Was in here the other week . New to area plus looking for dreams I want to do. Paul the owner was nice . I know little but been soaking in knowledge like a sponge online. He informed me of suits for the area an 2 piece. I been researching so much gear just pricey to start up is killer. Cant wait to hit the water soon an learn . Just bummed out need cert. To use pool . June far away wish there was way to train indoors till then piecing gear together an making payments cause course is both indoor an outdoors but weather holds off. Can u train before June if suit keeps warm diver ."

Everyone at the shop has always been very respectful and helpful to me, guiding me and my girlfriend/dive buddy through the certification process. We still go in to rent equipment and use the pool and I have had nothing but positive experiences here. Definitely one of the coolest and most unique businesses Downriver."
