"Unfortunately, my daughter and I did not have a good experience at L'esprit's Canton location Wednesday night. It started off with us finding out that our initial student stylist that we scheduled with had graduated. I’m not sure why she was still in the system to schedule appointments. I had to wait 30 minutes for another stylist to service my 8-year old daughter. We were scheduled for a wash, blow dry and thermal press; however, I had to defer the thermal press because it literally took the student over an hour to blow dry my daughter’s hair. As an adult, my hair is longer and thicker but it has never taken over hour to blow dry. I understand these are students learning , but it should not take 1.5 hours to blow dry hair. None of the instructors took note that this student needed guidance & assistance. I hope this review helps the school assess the skill sets of their students and the services they offer at the student salon. Clearly their students are not prepared to work on the public or textured hair."

"I would recommend coming for a basic hair dye, but if you want a haircut that is more precise I would not go here. In the past, I have had a basic haircut without complaint. I came in for a trim for my bob and the student cut the long hair that framed my face. Now I have to grow it out again. The educator did damage control but I still lost a lot of length. This added 45 minutes to my morning routine."

"Riley is a fantastic stylist with a wonderful personality. She took time to listen to what I wanted and did not want, made some great suggestions and funny jokes as well. She is very personable, front desk was polite and the salon was clean. Would recommend coming here to anyone who wants to help students grow but also walk away happy with their service."
