Founded by Eileen Cropley in 1998, the center offers excellent dance training for residents of the area. The Citadel Music program, started in 1999, was relocated to the Arts District in 2009 by Ken Ankli to include a state-of-the-art Music Center at 204 Water Street. Led by Director of Dance Lari Lawrence-Gist and Director of Music Susan Dietrich-Reed, Citadel Dance & Music Center aims to instill a love for the arts as both art forms and a way of life.
