"Charming, great food, and wonderfully friendly service! My family's experience here was nothing but positive. The place is laid-back and relaxed, which really adds to the experience I associate with the food provided. Speaking of the food, it was amazing! We got the gumbo, which was the perfect spice level and had tender sausage with a warm, comforting broth. The cornbread wasn't too bad either, albeit slightly dry. To add on, the service was kind and helpful, with the familial charm that brings this place together. I strongly suggest it to anyone looking for a nice place to grab a bite!"

"Very disappointed. I had the short ribs and they were dry, flavorless, and tasted expired. Ordered wings too and they were BEAUTIFUL, had a good crunch- problem, the meat once again had a sour expired meat taste. Mac and cheese was literally just noodles, water, and velveeta, and the greens were clearly canned glory greens (I like glory greens actually but don’t expect to be served them in a Louisiana restaurant). The “smoked” ribs were edible but clearly boiled. And not one thing was seasoned! It’s Messed up because I really wanted to like it!"

"Decided to try this place and unfortunately only one person was working the floor. He did the best he could do but it did take a long time for service. The decor was nice and the music was enjoyable. The stuffed pork chops had a strange taste to it couldn't quite figure out what seasoning they had used. We also got the alligator tail which tasted fine. Actually you couldn't taste the meat but the seasoning on the breading was very good. My son got the hot wings but said they weren't hot at all and just tasted like regular deep fried wings. The positive thing was that the hush puppies were very good."

"For an appetizer we got boudin balls, then a po boy which was as big as my head, and catfish with crawfish ettoufe! Everything was flavorful and fresh! If I want Cajun I'd definitely come here again as the chef is a NOLA native and makes food so good it'll make you slap yo momma!"
