"My niece is here from Georgia and we always go to Pago's in Royal Oak but they were closed. So I searched for Rolled ice cream nearby and found Choco Mania. My niece said this place is always on YouTube. We were excited to come here. After reviewing the menu we noticed it was very pricey! She wanted Rolled ice cream which was $15 and I order a scoop lemon custard and a scoop of chocolate which was $9! I thought this place is very expensive! While my niece was eating her rolled ice cream she said it didn't taste like pineapple and coconut. Although, it has pineapple and coconut mixed in with regular vanilla ice cream it just didn't have that flavor of pineapple and coconut.......hence Bahama Mama. The flavor needs to be enhanced and it wasn't worth the money we spent for what we ordered. They need some tweaking with their products."
"Came in today for my birthday as a treat and was pleased. Place was relatively clean and a huge bathroom. The rolled ice cream was pretty yummy and fun to watch. The only thing off putting was no hair nets and the girls were chewing gum. I did like the buzzer situation to get your order. But it is pretty pricey."
"This place has all the sweetest treats that you might’ve seen on instagram and tiktok stories!!! And they taste amazing!!! Service is nice and friendly, it’s family owned and all the best vibes of Arabian hospitality makes this place a pleasure to visit and joyful to see the interior, all the cups with crescents and turkish coffee and delights like baklava ! Ambience is great!"
"This place has a ton of options that most cafe/bakeries/ice cream shops don’t offer. I got the crème brûlée and the tres leches cake, both were great. My partner got the m&m shake and he said he enjoyed it. I will say if you come here expect a decent wait time, we were given a beeper and had a 10/15 minute for our things. It’s also quite pricey if I’m being honest, the costs should definitely be lowered for a lot of their items. Rating 4 stars just because of the cost."
"I tried this café this morning. The raspberry latte and strawberry banana crêpe were presented beautifully. I wasn’t a huge fan of the latte honestly, but maybe I just didn’t like how raspberry mixed with espresso. The crêpe was PHENOMENAL. Mariam was very sweet and helpful. The atmosphere is very modern and would probably have a great vibe at night. Definitely worth checking out!"
