"Decided to go to Rochester for bday sushi instead of Detroit where we usually go. I’m sad to say, it was just ok. Portions and quality/taste aren’t proportionate to the price. Service was great, polite servers. We expected more from a $20-$30 per person range restaurant like it states here on Google maps. The boat took up most of the space and made it difficult to eat. I don’t recommend."

"My wife and son love this place, I’m not a sushi guy but I tried bibimbap with chicken and I’m sold, I would come here every week just for that dish alone! My wife and son have commented numerous times this is their favorite sushi place and the quality of the food I’ve tried is very high. The staff is friendly and the Japanese beer is really good!"

"Place has been hit or miss lately. They have messed up my takeout orders 3 times in a row but when I dined in the 2nd time over Christmas break, it was amazing!! Probably the best it has been in a couple years. Still upset they changed their house tea though :-/"

"Went there this evening and was told this place was amazing by my girlfriend who lives in the area and who frequents this establishment. This was my first experience at this location and will most likely be my last. We never got our house salads. I never got my miso soup. My girlfriends order wasn’t prepared properly. Took forever to get a waitress over. But to top all of this, we watched 2 groups get seated, get their orders taken and salads at their table before we even got to order. AND got their food before us after we had been seated for over 15 minutes. How unprofessional. I got my roll, it was good. Nothing to write home about however I didn’t get a cup to dip soy sauce, that’s very weird given this is a sushi restaurant. Never got the extra ginger I asked for when ordering. I shouldn’t have to ask twice for such a simple request as a paying customer. Extremely disappointed in the attempts of the restaurant and the servers. It’s not a hard job hence why almost anybody can do it at almost any age. My niece would’ve given me better service at her tea party with stuffed animals compared to the service we got tonight."

"A nice little sushi joint in downtown Rochester. We came for dinner on a Tuesday night and there was still a decent crowd. The host and especially our waitress were incredibly friendly and personable. The drinks were great and the sushi was even better. The hibachi was good and they were nice enough to provide us extra yum yum sauce. Will be coming back for sure. Recommended."
