"The seafood and drinks are very good here. The service is usually good here. My rating and why I won't be returning here is the management. All restaurants slip up, nobody is perfect and that's where management needs to step in and make right with the customer. They messed up pretty good with a buinesd group luncheon. After couple months, they did send gift card after saying it was due to computer/system issues. Decided to let it go. Gave the gift card some months later to sister-in-law and they tried using but told it had ~45 day life. Was furious, embarrassed and then laughed that they got me on 2 strikes. No 3rd chance for them though. So, apparently, they have an expiration on apologies of month or two is what I took away. Not a sincere apology then from my own business perspective. In summary, the food is good, but I'm not going to investment any further money of mine there based on history with their current customer policies. As long as you don't have any issues, you should have a good meal and pleasant atmosphere. Good luck with any satisfactory outcome, if you do."

"Had the craving for some Oysters and figured we would give Kabin Krusers a shot. We had half a dozen Rhode Island and half a dozen of Nee Jersey oysters and they were both very good and fresh. For our meals we had the Twin filets with Crab cakes, the Blackened Halibut and spilt a Lobster and Shrimp Mac and Cheese. Everything was cooked and seasoned very well. Prices were fair for the food and we left very full. We will definitely be back."

"If you enjoy seafood, salads and other cuisine, I can highly recommend Kabin Kruiser’s Oyster Bar on Main Street in downtown Rochester, Michigan. My wife and I enjoy visiting this establishment on Friday or Saturday around 3:00pm, which is a time we can find a place to sit at the bar and order food and beverage. I LOVE the steamer pot and my wife enjoys the rainbow beet salad with a grilled chicken breast. The staff are friendly and accommodating and we enjoy the dining experience followed by a walk along Main Street where we can find a wide variety of stores to window shop or find items we need to purchase locally. I think you may enjoy this venue as well. Give them a try if you are hungry and/or would like to sample a beverage or two."

"It was ok. Small warm bar atmosphere. A little too cluttered for my taste. The seafood chowder is better at the Kruse and Muer restaurants. The bread was also different from the restaurant. I ordered the shrimp and mussel boil. It had no flavor. I won’t be back. The garlic cheese toast was good. The bar tenders were friendly and my pear martini was delicious."
