"This is a regular- people joint. What I mean by that is that this place exists solely based on the existence of their regular customers. This is a good place for older people 45+ to come and have a 6/10 slice of pizza that you waited too long for. It’s almost as if they don’t recognize you by name, you’re young, you seem poor, or you smell like weed rather than alcohol, you don’t deserve to be treated the same as others. Bring back the days of adapting with the times- not dwelling in them. The place needs a face lift- it has potential. No need for windows or 7 days a week to be open. Maybe just update your staff, paint job and ceiling tiles,and customer service skills and trenton will have a rejuvenated and beloved local pizza joint."
"Nice mom and pops atmosphere. However, our food was made incorrectly. They remade it but the new order had hair in it and was undercooked. Passive aggressive wait staff. Did not have a good experience."
"Pizza was outstanding, hot & delicious & servings were generous. I loved the salad! It was great to see Tony M. & the staff & the remodel makes the place look great! I will miss the old booths & memories from high school will have to do. I wish that I had taken pictures!"
"Being from Downriver I always ate Frank's Pizza, since Frank's no longer is the same after changing ownership, I missed that old authentic Italian pizza and taste. Last night I was invited to Dels for the first time and could not believe how much it tasted like the old Frank's pizza! After talking with the owner found out both places share some of the same history from the 50's! You will have to ask the owner of Dels to get the story for yourself."
"Pizza was delicious! We have had pizza from just about every place downriver and Del's has the flavor I have been looking for! It's kind of sweet like the old vitos sauce was, but tastes better in my opinion. Definitely my new favorite pizza as long as they keep the same sauce recipe!"
